Wow, I would have demanded a room for crying in the mud! I am happy you were ok though, but no drugs....EEK! Oh, soooo not fair. I'm an old fashioned girl when it comes to childbirth - it's all about whoever is doing the pushing! My advice to prospective mothers is always - take the drugs!!

What a great lunch! I agree it is a happy, unexpected plus of blogging, meeting up with people with a similar interest and sharing a meal. Daisy and Mr Boa are both such lovely people.

I think I would have skipped lunch and just gone with a series of desserts! They all looked so good :)

How wonderful that you got to meet up.. and eat at that cute cafe! Flour and Stone is just the sort of cafe I really enjoy going to. At first I thought you ordered everything in these photos? Maybe you did, lol, that is so fun! My favorite is the lamington, my daughter and I made those once when she was studying Australia:)

I think I would just stick with the desserts. Lamingtons are my all time favourite cake - as long as they are fresh and have jam and fresh cream. None of that whipped cream in a can that tastes of air. Ughh!
